About Dr. Deeawn Roundtree
Dr. Roundtree is the Founder & President of Leading from Within Ministries and the CEO of Roundtree Training & Consulting, where her focus on leadership development is evident. She is a Senior Certified Professional with the Society of Human Resource Management (SHRM-SCP), a Certified Leadership Coach, Trainer, and Speaker with the John Maxwell Team, and a Certified DISC Trainer and Consultant. Dr. Roundtree has authored two insightful books: “Leading From Within: A Faith-Based Perspective on Leadership” and “Beyond the Boardroom: Learn how to play and win at the game of corporate politics.” She has conducted numerous workshops on leadership topics, emphasizing the principles of servant leadership.
With a career spanning decades in teaching and sales, Dr. Roundtree has held top-level faculty and administrative positions at various academic institutions, gaining significant experience in curriculum development. She holds a Doctor of Ministry degree from South University, a Doctorate of Business Administration from Wilmington University, an M.S. in Professional Leadership with a concentration in Training and Development, and a B.S. in Business Management from Carlow University. Her proven methods aim to unlock personal potential and enhance company performance.
Active in her community, Dr. Roundtree engages in community outreach by serving on the boards of several non-profit organizations, including the Black Chamber of Commerce PBC and Genesis Community Health. She is also a Charter Member and former VP of Operations for the Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.-Alpha Alpha Upsilon Omega Chapter, and an Associate Member of Jack & Jill of America, Inc., Palm Beach, FL Chapter.
